Lakewood Ranch Country Club Homes

Wexford is Pat Neal's latest in Country Club
By HAROLD BUBIL of Sarasota Herald Tribune

Thirty-five years and 6,400 residences into his career as a home builder and developer, Pat Neal is looking anything but burned out.

In fact, he's seems to still have that fire in his belly.

Sitting in the Carmel model at his new Wexford section of courtyard homes, in the Country Club at Lakewood Ranch, he proudly talks about the 53-lot enclave's "unique" qualities.

"We designed it to be the entry level for the Country Club, primarily as a second home," says Neal. "Each of these homes has a beautiful entry courtyard, and a strong entry. And every home Neal builds has a through view, lots of air. The views, particularly of the wetlands, from Wexford are superb."

He often speaks of his company in the third person.

"This is a unique property," Neal adds. "It's beautiful, forested land -- never was ranched. It was added to the Country Club with all its amenities, and the famous Neal attention to detail."
