Should developers build or pay for affordable housing?

What are your thoughts on affordable housing and who should pay for it? The Sarasota area definitely needs to address this problem. Our community cannot thrive on just the wealthy residents. We need all income levels to support Sarasota and to continue to make it a great place to live.
